Tonograph is an app for writing guitar tabs, hearing them and handing them on. In this first version you can:
- Write tabs. Tab and standard notation sit side by side, and you enter notes and techniques with the keyboard and the mouse.
- Open and edit
.gpfiles, and export your work as.gp. - Hear the score through the Resonance Engine. Every instrument is synthesised as it plays, with no sample library, and you shape the sound on a pedalboard of effects.
- Work with AI. An AI client on the same computer can read and edit the open score over MCP.
- Export a PDF or print.
- Use it in English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil) or Simplified Chinese.
Tonograph works offline. See Pricing for how to get it, and Features for a closer look at what it does.
