Plug in your guitar

Connect an audio interface or a microphone to tune your guitar, hear it through the track’s pedalboard and teach Tonograph the tone of your strings. The sound is processed on your computer and is never stored or sent.

A tuner that follows the track

The tuner reads the tuning of the track under the cursor, whether it’s standard, a drop tuning or a seven-string, and picks out the string you’re closest to. A row of LEDs shows how far off you are, and every string you’ve tuned stays marked, so you can see at a glance what’s left.

Play through the pedalboard

Turn on Play through pedalboard and what you play runs through the pedalboard of the track under the cursor: the same amp, drive and delay the score plays through. The left panel has an input trim and a meter, Settings shows where the latency comes from, and a smaller audio buffer cuts it down.

Your strings, measured

Every set of strings bends its overtones sharp in its own way. Play each marked position three times and Tonograph records the tone of your strings, so audio note input can tell more reliably which string you played.
