Theme and language
Choose a light or dark colour scheme and the language of the app. Both switch without restarting.
Choose a theme#
Choose the colour scheme with Theme on the Display tab of .
The choices are System, Light and Dark. It starts at System, which follows your operating system’s appearance. If you change the system appearance while the app is open, it follows right away. The theme you choose is kept the next time you start the app.
With the dark theme, the score is also drawn in light lines on a dark background. PDFs and printouts always have a white background, whatever the theme.
Choose a language#
Choose the app’s language with Language on the same tab.
The choices are System, English, 日本語, Español, Português (Brasil) and 简体中文. Each language is written in its own language, so you can find yours even if you can’t read the current one. It starts at System, which picks the first match from your operating system’s language preferences. If none matches, English is used.
The app and its menus switch as soon as you choose. The language you choose is kept the next time you start the app.
What isn’t translated#
Technique text and note names inside the score appear in English in every language.
Direction names such as D.S., and track and section names brought in from .gp files, also appear as written. The name a track gets when you add it is in the language in use at that moment and doesn’t change if you switch language later.
